– Don Answers LeapGo’s 10 “Tough” Questions –
Who was your biggest inspiration?
I’m inspired by entrepreneurs. Most of them look at problems as a challenge, not an obstacle.
If you could be one celebrity who would you be?
Without a doubt, Robert Downey Jr. Not only is he witty and successful, he’s a perfect fit for Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man.
What motivates you to get out of bed every morning?
Sometimes a strong cup of coffee, but mostly because I work with a great team and we help people grow their online businesses.
What scares the bejeebers out of you?
Hairy spiders and fast centipedes.
What traits make you successful?
Effective listening. A conversation shouldn’t be two people waiting for their turn to talk. Also, being able to identify problems and recommend solutions is far more effective than taking someone’s order.
What trait do you wish you could shed?
Extra weight. It’s a work in progress.
What book do you recommend to every businessperson?
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?
Take my parents and family to Canada and live on a houseboat for a while.
If you could give any advice to others, what would it be?
Don’t focus on what you’re afraid of or what you don’t want. Instead, focus on what you do want.
How do you de-stress?
I like games and puzzles, like Mahjong, Suduko, and Scrabble. I appreciate video games, but I would prefer to sit with a group of friends and play Texas Hold’em Poker.
